Like everything about the boots. Am very pleased they fit well and look great.I just received my boots yesterday and all I can say is "WOW." This is my 4th pair of Dan Post boots but my first pair of ostrich. I own 2 pairs of the Denver caimans and 1 pair of the Franklins, all are very comfortable and fit just right. When I opened the package everything was packaged nicely. As soon as I opened the box the sweet aroma of leather filled the air, the boots are beautiful and the workmanship is superb. The leather is soft and supple and the color is awesome. As I pulled on my new pimp as hell boots, it was like the boots hugged my feet like long lost friends finally reunited. The boots are great and feel like they are already broken in. These are going to be my new favorite boots when going out 2 steppin or for Sunday mornings when I sit on my porch and have a cup of coffee and read the paper. If you have a chance to buy a pair, Do it! You won't be disappointed. Cheers!Most comfortable boots I have worn. They fit as expected. I wear a 13 dress shoe and a 14 in most athletic shoes. I purchased a 13 in this boot and it fits great. I have been wearing them now for about 6 months. These are the most comfortable boots I own. I normally wear orthopedic inserts in my dress shoes to help with arch support. I have worn them with these boots but most of the time I don't get any pain. By far, these are the best boots I have worn and they were 1/2 the cost of other well known brands.The boots arrived exactly when promised and in perfect condition. They are beautiful, and the foot fits perfectly. However, the top of the shaft is too tight around my calves, and this is something that is not going to change. I can't have the shafts rubbing all the time, and it breaks my heart to have to return them, but that's the way it goes sometimes. If you don't have muscular calves, this boot is the one to get - absolutely top-notch quality for the price. Just didn't work out for me.....:(This is my second pair of Dan Post Chandler boots and I couldn't be more satisfied. The fit and comfort is excellent right out of the box. No break in period needed! For first time ostrich buyers, be sure and get a pair that fits as they will not stretch much like leather. The center sole material should provide much better wear than traditional 100% leather soles. The heel cap is a thin layer of rubber. I strike the heel pretty hard when I walk and usually that is the first part that shows wear on my shoes, so time will tell how well these hold up. The look and feel are excellent!First off, they look great...however, first pair's insole became misshaped after first wear. So easy to return. 5 start review for the seller! Second pair was from an older animal with much smaller quills and distressing marks throughout leather. Honestly, I like them better. Leather was much thicker and didn't feel like a thick sock like the first pair. Summary...boots are nice. Just know that every animal is different, so each pair will be unique.The boots are awesome and comfortable right out of the box. I originally ordered EW pair to give my feet extra room but they were to big so I returned them for pair of regular fit.Received these yesterday and could not be more pleased! Beautiful full quill skins, good fit, and nicely constructed overall. I normally wear size 10EE, but I ordered a 10D based on some reviews which stated these ran slightly large. I'm glad I did, because the fit is perfect.Shipping was a little slower than expected, but shipping was free and they arrived by the date promised. The boots weren't packaged in the original box, but were in pristine condition. I would buy again without hesitation.
