What an elegant bird feeder. Reminds me of a 1930's craftsman inspired picnic shelter at a national park. All hardware is stainless steel including the mesh grid the food sits on. The feeder is made out of poly lumber; my favorite. It looks like wood, but is virtually indestructible. I have had cedar outdoor garden accessories, and they eventually become brittle with age fan fall apart. It rained this morning; the sparrows and chickadees were sitting under the roof enjoying the view in our lovely backyard bird retreat. The feeders I have seen from Dutch Crafters remind me of buying a quality pair of birding optics. You pay more up front, but the quality is unquestianably present in such an investment. I can therefore highly recommend these feeders by Dutch Crafters.
