Handsome boot and high-quality leather, IMO. Seems to fit true to size for my 9.5D foot---was worried from some of the other reviews it might be too narrow or short. Brown color is a deep and attractive finish. Haven't had these long enough to know about the year-after-year durability.If kept polished, dressy enough that I am able to wear these to my university IT job with khakis or wool slacks. Yet. they provide enough foot protection for my urban commute on my motorcycle. Very pleased with that combination of good looks and ankle/foot protection..As another reviewer mentioned, the heel is attached with cobblers nails. They make for a louder footstep than you may be used to. Those nails can be carefully sunk deeper with a carpenters countersink and hammer, if the footstep noise is a problem for you.
