【Stainless Steel】Our railing posts are made of premium T304 stainless steel with a matte black powder-coated finish, making them seismically strong and durable. Wire rope and cable railing fittings are all made of T316 stainless steel, which is corrosion and rust resistant. Rubber grommets will prevent the cable from wearing into the metal posts. BLIKA black cable railing post system is ideal for both indoor and outdoor projects due to its strength and durability.

【Railing Building Code】Our stainless steel black cable railing posts are pre-drilled with 10 holes spaced 3 1/8" apart on the surface to comply with the 4" sphere test. Please make sure the span between two structural posts does not exceed 4ft. If the span between any two structural posts is increased to 7ft, you’ll need a structural post every 8 feet with an intermediate space every 4ft between structural posts. Please consult the local building authority for regulations.

Unless you are doing just a four-foot section of level fence, this won't be everything you need, but it will surely get you started well and save you money.So, here are some things I like:1. It's nice to have posts with adjustable tops, even for a level section. First, I like the look of how it sets off the handrail. Second, if you aren't perfectly flat or expecting a shallow angle (15 degrees or less), this will help keep your posts vertical and your handrails flowing nicely.2. I like that it includes wire snips designed for the task. My regular wire cutters have a bend, but I thought they would deform the 7x7 cable as well as cut it, making it harder to get the cut ends into the receivers and tensioners. These snips have a teardrop shape to the cutting area, which seems like a better design for cutting the wire strands and not deforming the cable.3. The tensioners are good quality and made of T316 stainless steel rather than T304. Overall, most people likely won't see a difference over time unless they are near salt water, but it is still a sign of quality.4. The cable is relatively short, although also good quality. If you are going to do a longer fence, I would recommend getting an idea of the total run and then multiplying by 11 (vs. 10 so you have extra wiggle room)5. The finish on the posts is also nice, and the open grommets that go around the wires and protect them where they enter the post are handy.I am using black tensioners and cable with the black posts rather than the stainless steel versions included. That black/stainless contrast could look good in the right environment, but I'm not sure mine does. Still, even if I replace those, the set is still of good value, and I can likely find a good use for these parts in the future.The fact pretty much everything you need (including mounting bolts (concrete) and screws (wood), makes it much easier to install these than it might otherwise be. Overall, a good product for a good value.
