Liked that it was exactly what I needed, much more sturdy than I thought it would be. Delivery was precisely on time.All much appreciated.I bought this to add a support in my crawlspace. I had a company come out and put some in and one of the ones they left was a hydraulic jack. I wanted something that was going to be sturdy and I didn't have to worry about hydraulic pressure leaking over time. This fit that bill. I have bought some others at local stores that were a pipe in a pipe. This one is much thicker pipe and having plates welded on each end made it more stable. The issue is that with load on the screw the handle will not turn. The handle bears directly on the bottom pipe and it creates a lot of friction. If I had enough flat space I would jack with the hydraulic jack and then tighten with this and ease the hydraulic jack down so this one is carrying the load. Unfortunately I don't have the flat space. So, not good for jacking, but seems to be a great product for a support.NothingThese are ok- just not what I expected. Have to really read the description. They don’t work for my application and cost too much to return. I didn’t contact anyone due to the shipping expense.I probably could have done what i needed to do with a few cheap farm jacks. These jacks can't "lift" anything up. The "jack" in the name can be misleading. They are great for securing something where it is but if you need to have an ever so slight adjustment upwards it can become extremely difficult to drive the load upwards. Very durable, very solid, however you can find jack posts at half the price that would do the same temporary job. As a permanent solution to a support post these we be hands down the right choice.We purchased 4 jacks to permanently support the beams under our sunroom & deck. They were easy to install & we saved a lot of money by doing this home project ourselves. Delivery was timely, but was expensive as they are heavy. Each one came in it’s own box. Good purchase!! We will probably order 2 more.Worked great and is supporting part of my house right now.Perfect, easy system to repair support beam in crawlapace
