Vego recommends a 5/8" drill bit in the instructions included with their post. I followed their instructions exactly, but the 9/16" sleeve anchors won't set when hammered and simply slide out of the holes—the holes are too big. I reached out to their customer service, and after they denied any wrongdoing and did not read my emails carefully (asking questions I had already answered, giving instructions I told them I already followed) they then ghosted my follow-up emails over several weeks. Now I have four holes in my flagstone and a leaning hose reel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR COMPANY, but if you do buy these, don't follow their instructions and instead get a 9/16" masonry bit.
